I still remember the day

I cried so badly

And I ordered my breakfast

and dropped half my hashbrown

and cried even more

and called her down

and she came despite the fact she was busy studying.

And right now, she doesn't seem

to be the girl I once knew,

happy, cheerful, stressed out at times.

I wish I knew what happened,

I wish she'd tell me.

I wish I could console her

; but I just don't know how or where to start.

Her future's bright, even brighter than mine,

sometimes I envy her,

but right now,

I just want to be there to motivate her

to lead her towards success.

; and yet again I don't know how, or where to start.
